It was a pretty lazy Sunday and a pretty good sports day -- Yankees game, NASCAR race and a replay of a Dolphins football game on NFL Network. And Mommy was cleaning the kitchen and doing some work, so Daddy helped out and took her for a bit.
She likes watching sports with her Daddy. It's very very cute. I need to find her a sports book or something.

Playing horsey with Daddy -- she leans herself forward. We might have a little jockey on our hands!She loves playing horsey. It's adorable. She smiles and kind of laughs. She'll lean forward on her own (makes her look like a little jockey) and fusses when he stops bouncing her. I told Jimmy he never should have started doing that because he's going to get tired bouncing her all the time.
Our Lil Miss does not like to sleep. She wants to be awake. She wants to play. She doesn't like naps (though she takes them when she needs to). She's not a fussy awake baby -- right now she's perfectly happily playing in her bouncy chair, grinning at her reflection -- but she just likes to be awake. And she really does like to be held.
Mommy is getting muscles. And has muscles that she didn't even know she had that are sore.

I think Daddy is watching the Yankees, maybe Nascar. She kept pushing against his face with her feet. It was too cute not to get a picture.She just loves being with her Daddy. She doesn't see him as much as she sees Mommy, so it doesn't really bother me when she calms down for him (cause sometimes she just calms down for me) or when she's perfectly happy being with Daddy. I LIKE that she loves her Daddy. It's really cute to watch her just watching him when he walks by. Or to see her grin when he comes home from work.
It's like when she smiles at me when I go to pick her up after she wakes up. It's the highlight of my week when I see that little smile.

Watching Nascar with Daddy. He was "driving" with her (leaning her when the cars would turn and making "vroom" noises). It was really cute.
wow! she is really starting to look like a person, you know? we call it losing the "worm" phase. super cute!!! i really can't wait to see y'all! when you are well again...we need to compare calendars.
