and our little miss has a nickname!

I am writing this from the office, so I apologize for the lack of pictures. I promise to post plenty from this last week when we get home this evening.

It's been an interesting few days. We took Jimmy back up to the hospital in Marathon on Sunday. They got all his electrolyte levels back to where they should be, got him feeling better and prescribed him Ativan, an anti anxiety medicine. He came home and slept, slept some Monday and then Monday afternoon, he started feeling better. He ate Monday night and by Tuesday he was better, just not tired at all, since he's slept for so long last week. He was up from Monday afternoon until about five this morning, when he finally crashed. He is home sleeping now and Lil Miss is here at work with me (currently sitting in my lap and watching me type). She stayed with him all day on Tuesday and did very well apparently. I'm proud of her.

Lil Miss has been such a good girl all week. Like I said, she stayed with Daddy on Tuesday and was so good. She was SO happy to see him on Monday night when he was up and about and actually felt well enough to play with her. That just made her day (it was very cute). Yesterday, we took a little trip up to Big Pine for a few things and then stopped to see her godmother, our friend Lauren, on the way home and she was so good that whole trip (though she did want Mommy to sit in the back seat with her instead of upfront with Daddy).

I've gotten to talk to both my Momma and my big sister a bunch this week, which is good and always makes me happy. And my Momma will be here to see us in just a few days and I can't WAIT. I finally finished Lil Miss' nursery too -- I'm rather proud of it. It's pretty cute. I'll try to post some pictures up this afternoon or evening if she lets me take them. She's wanting to be held a lot today.

And yeah -- we've finally found a nick name that fits our little one. So her full initials are A.B.W. And we were watching NCIS and I was painting these letters of her initials that I put on her wall and there's this character on NCIS names Abby that I love love love cause she's smart and quirky and funny and just great. So I looked at Lil Miss and said "You look like an Abby," and she grinned at me. So I said it again and she laughed. And then I said "Abby" again and she grinned again.

So I think it's going to stick. She's officially Little Miss Abby and it fits her well.

She's too dang cute for anybody's good!! (And she's growing too -- she finally grew out of some of her clothes!)
